This festive season, Peoples Theatre welcomes Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the hip hip Hippo and, of course, those hilarious, plotting penguins as they bound onto the stage in the musical adventure of a lifetime in Madagascar – A Musical Adventure JR!!

Based on the smash DreamWorks animated motion picture, Madagascar – A Musical Adventure JR. follows all your favorite crack-a-lackin’ friends as they escape from their home in New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the madcap world of King Julien’s Madagascar.

Alex the lion is the king of the urban jungle, the main attraction at New York's Central Park Zoo. He and his best friends — Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe and Gloria the hippo — have spent their whole lives in blissful captivity before an admiring public and with regular meals provided for them. Not content to leave well enough alone, Marty lets his curiosity get the better of him and makes his escape — with the help of some mischievous penguins — to explore the world, filled with outlandish characters, adventure galore and an upbeat score, Madagascar JR. will leave audiences with no choice but to “Move It, Move It!”

HOW TO BOOK IF YOU ARE ALREADY A KIDS CLUB MEMBER

1. Search on Webtickets.co.za for the show title (Madagascar) to see what show times and dates we have available for this show
2. Find out how many friends and family members want to come with you
3. Call or email Peoples Theatre with your Kids Club membership number/ numbers ready
4. Give us 24 hours max to prepare your invoice
5. Make payment and send us your POP
6. Once we have confirmed that we have received your POP you can sit back and prepare for a puuuuuuurfect Peoples Theatre experience!!

Membership: R150 per year
Public: R175
Accompanying a member: R150

The actors will come out and meet you after the show and sign your programmes on Kids Club Days. If you can’t make it on these days, don’t worry because you still get your Kids Club discount at any performance.
